This last week my girlfriend and I headed to the west coast for an anniversary vacation. In the past I have hated vacations. I love my job, I like making things and when I’m out of town I can’t really do that. If money wasn’t an issue I’d still make things with cameras. However my girlfriend is not the same, she LOVES vacations. Not wanting to ruin her time I decided to pack a bag full of cameras to create some things in new places. Here’s a few photos from our time in Seattle.

Last year my Room mate convinced me to come out to some sketchy lot and take pictures of him doing dangerous things on his mini-bike. Since then, I try and make it out to shoot these guys when I’m available. This was the first time I had time to make it out this year and I’m really pretty stoked at how good they’re all getting. You’ll definitely see some more photo/video work of them in the future here.
This weekend the new owners of the Hideout asked me to come take pictures at one of the biggest shows they’re planning on having for sometime. They wanted some shots of how crowded the place was. Now I’m kind of “retired” from concert photos, but when they told me that one of my favorite bands were playing I grabbed my cameras and hopped back in the pit. Here’s some favorite shots:

I recently got to work a job with Animal Planet shooting animals giving birth at the Nebraska State Fair. The basics of the job is that we were there to stream the birthing pavilion 24 hours a day for the entirity of the state fair. I drew the short straw and worked nights by myself, which was actually quite nice because I had a lot of time to think and some access to shoot some super cute animals. So without further ado, here is an avalanche of cute farm animals (and maybe some BTS)
