Angélica Negrón recently performed at Bemis Center’s LIVE @ LOW END performance series. Angélica somehow managed to rig up some fruits and veggies as well as a house plant to perform electronic music, which made for a real wild performance.
The Bemis Center hosted it’s regular “Meet and Eat” event where you get a chance to share a meal with the current group of Bemis Resident’s and hear a little bit about what they’ll be making while at the Bemis Center. If you’re not familiar, the Bemis Center hosts “Residents” for a few weeks in converted studios/apartments and provides the residents access to all kinds of materials and tools as well as covers their living expenses for a few weeks so they can focus 100% on their art. It’s a really neat program, and very worth checking out their Open Studios event that occurs at the end of their residency run, giving you a chance to see the artworks created and chat with the artists in a casual environment.
Back in 2019 I shot some video footage at the Restoration Exchange Omaha conference. They asked me to recut some of that footage into a little hype video for this year’s conference.
Recently put together two videos for Huber Cadillac for their end of the year sales push. Even did the voice over on the product video.

Worked on a short video project for Dr Kelly Conway this week. Grabbed a few photos while I was there for his website as well. I didn’t handle the edit on the video so I;m not sure when or where that will make an appearance but keep an eye out. Until then, here’s a few photos.
Every year I make a list of crazy goals to challenge myself, and this year is no different. While I’ll spare you the handful of personal goals – Like take my dog on 50 adventures, I have a handful of professional goals I’d like to accomplish.
Probably the most challenging of these is my goal to take 50,000 “keepers”, a number that is a little under double what I took and kept last year. Part of me thinks it’s an insane goal that isn’t quite achievable, but that’s part of what I like about my goals and that’s how my brain works so I guess I’ll just have to deal with it.
So along with that goal, I want to get back to doing more personal photography work, for the last few years I’ve been a little too focused on shooting for clients and haven’t been doing near enough photography for fun. To that end I expect you’ll see a lot more work under the “Personal work” category on this website in the coming year.
2018 was a really great year for me on both a personal and professional level, I grew a lot as a person and had my best year to date professional. Since 2019 marks 10 years doing this full time I want to continue that trend and make some work I’m really proud of.

Here’s a music video I did for Omaha Performing Arts in March 2017. They were had a song writing contest and the winners got to perform their song with members of the cast of “Beautiful”. Jaymie won the 13-18 year old division and got to perform her song with actor Josh A. Dawson from Broadway’s North American tour of BEAUTIFUL – The Carol King Musical.
The video was shot live in one take, with the audio mixed by the house sound guy Ezekiel Metcalf.
