Recently Lauren Simpson and Annie Schenzel performed as part of KANEKO’s DUO performance series. Shooting dance is always a challenge, but when you turn the lights down low and add in a projector as the main light source it starts to get really tricky, but challenges are part of what keeps this job interesting. I talked my girlfriend into coming with me to be my assistant on a shoot recently for Girls Inc and took the opportunity to make a light test into a new headshot for her.

Omaha Performing arts toddler Jazz Class “Webop” recently took it’s show on the road down to the Omaha Children’s museum to host a free a class. You can learn more about webop (and see some more of my photos from previous classes) here.
Rented a crazy lens this weekend and asked Cristina to stand in front of it for a few portraits and despite the cold and snow she did a fantastic job.
Rented the Sigma 150-300 2.8 this weekend. First thing I had to shoot with it was my pup Bear.
