Took my drone for a spin out at to Lake Zorinsky today and got a few nice aerial shots of the lake and the park.

The Omaha Guitar Trio – The Oregon Trail | Music Video
The guys in the Omaha Guitar Trio asked me to put together a series of videos for them during their recording time. Here’s one of the 3 we shot for that project, filmed in 4 takes, so not all of the video matches up with the audio since I sat with a different member for each take. All in all, very happy with how this turned out.
Brinker Harding For City Council
Today I worked with Brinker Harding, who is running for a seat on City Council. He needed some new photos for his marketing materials. We were looking for something a little more casual than a straight into camera shot, and were able to get a few different set-ups in not a whole lot of time. Here’s a few favorites from the shoot.
Patricia and Jake | Omaha Engagement Session
It’s always nice to shoot photos for people you’ve known for a long time. Me and Jake have known each other for nearly a decade now, having played in a band together for about 5 years. Though we don’t keep in touch as often as we used to when we would have band practice twice a week, I was stoked he asked me to shoot engagment photos for him and his fiance.
We went out to Chalco hills and had to work against a crummy cloudy day and day light savings being that day we had an hour less “sunlight” than we would have had to boot. Luckily with some flash tricks we were able to create some nice light and give the impression of a nice golden hour.
Here’s some photos from their engagement session:

Rachelle and Brock | Omaha Engagement Photography
One of the things I love about Omaha is that it’s big enough that it feels like a real city, but small enough that it seems like there’s only ever a few degrees of separation from anyone person. This happened with Brock and Rachelle’s engagement photos – I showed a few of the early shots to my girlfriend and she recognized Rachelle as someone she grew up with and was in the same youth group with. She texted a picture to her mom who sent it off to Rachelle and her mom who were confused how she got it since I hadn’t finished and delivered the session yet.
Small world.
Emma and Earl | Omaha Wedding Photography
I absolutely love shooting non-traditional weddings and Emma and Earl’s wedding was anything but.
The two got married on an early Sunday Afternoon at the Lookout Lounge, a music venue where Emma worked and Earl played a number of shows – and eventually proposed to her at one of those shows. The wedding was a short affair that only lasted about two hours and came with one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever eaten, which was vegan to boot.
Here’s a few photos from their wedding.
